Ikhishi Bakes Limited was started by the Managing Director Tracy Cooper. Her background goes back to her childhood in Africa.
She was born in Zimbabwe, Southern Africa and remembers her very early childhood when her grandmother sat her on
the counter-top in her kitchen and taught her how to make milk tarts and other desserts. Her grandparents lived on a farm in the middle of nowhere and they would often walk in, to elephants and monkeys trying to steal food through the kitchen windows. The recipes and techniques used have been passed from generation to generation. The staff at Ikhishi Bakes pride themselves on adhering to these old traditions and recipes.
